Privacy Policy

• Your account. An email address, so you can sign in and so your courses follow you between devices. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address from Google — not your password.
• Course material you provide. Notes you paste or upload (.txt / .md), plus the course and unit titles you type.
• Content generated from it. Practice questions, definitions, summaries, and explanations.
• Your study activity. Which questions you answered, what you answered, whether it was correct, and when — this is what powers scores, weak-spot targeting, and mastery.
• Payment records. If you subscribe, Stripe processes the payment. We never see or store your card number.

We do not collect your browsing history, your location, or the contents of other websites you visit.

If you use Skadooble without signing in, your courses are stored in your own browser rather than on our servers. Clearing your browser data deletes them, and we can’t recover them for you.

To turn your material into questions, definitions, and grades, we send the relevant text to Google (the Gemini API), routed through Cloudflare AI Gateway. That means the study material you add is transmitted to Google for processing.

We use these APIs as a service provider for generating your content. If you have material you are not comfortable sending to a third-party AI provider, don’t add it to Skadooble.

• Clerk — sign-in and account management.
• Cloudflare — hosting, the database your courses live in, and bot protection (Turnstile) on sign-in.
• Google — AI generation and grading, as described above.
• Stripe — subscription payments.

The extension is optional. If you install and connect it, then:

• It stores a connection token and your reminder preferences locally in your browser. On our side we store only a hash of that token, never the token itself.
• It asks skadooble.com for one random question from your courses, and sends back which option you picked. That answer is recorded the same way an in-app quiz answer is.
• It has no access to the pages you browse. It contains no content scripts and never reads, injects into, or monitors other websites.

Disconnecting the extension (Settings → Disconnect) deletes the stored token from your browser and stops all reminders.

Your content stays until you delete it. Deleting a unit deletes its material, question bank, and quiz history. Deleting a course deletes everything inside it. These deletions are immediate and permanent — we cannot undo them for you.

To delete your entire account and everything attached to it, use Account → Delete account. That removes your courses, material, questions, and study history from our database before the account itself is deleted. If you’d rather we did it for you, email the address below.

Connections are encrypted in transit. Extension connection tokens are stored only as SHA-256 hashes, so a database leak wouldn’t hand anyone a usable credential. No service is perfectly secure, and we won’t pretend otherwise.

Skadooble isn’t intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.

If this policy changes materially, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
